Honeymoon in Belize!

Mindi and I went to Belize for the perfect honeymoon bright and early the morning after our wedding. So with very little sleep (from Mindi throwing up all night, no joke. But it's important to mention she got nauseous BEFORE she saw me naked), we hit the airways on our way to Ambergris Caye (pronounced key). Our hotel was named Victoria House, named of course after Victoria's secret. It was a wonderful resort in the middle of some crazy wind and a bit of rain, making it rough to do those things we went on a honeymoon to do- scuba!

Cruisin' the streets of San Pedro.

Notice how strong the wind is blowing!

Food is expensive (pronounced "expensih") in Belize. We had a hard time finding somewhere that wasn't 80 bucks. This place was maybe 40 or 50 (pronounced "fitty") bones. It was called Wild Mangos, and wasn't too shabby.

On a puddle jumper from Ambergris Caye to Placencia. These little planes made Mindi really nervous.

We look very happy in this picture, but we just finished with a stressful little event. This boat is the source of Mindi and I's first getting frustrated with each other as a married couple. The story goes: I was really excited to take this boat out and go fast! Mindi was nervous about how windy it was, and wanted me to take it easy. The result was we got going so fast and the wind was blowing so hard that it tipped our boat onto its side. Mindi wacked her face on the way down and came up out of the water not happy at all to see our boat on its side. I got catapulted by the boat flipping to its side and got launched about 15 feet into the water. I screamed YAHOO on the way down and came out of the water laughing. With a little muscle and some help from a fellow boater, we got it back. But we had had enough and we took the boat back in. Slowly this time.

This was as good as the visibility got.

A little husband vs. wife dart tournament. Of course you already know who won- Mindi. But don't ask her how she did against me in backgammon, it's a sore subject.

This was our sailing trip we did on the last day. We also did some snorkeling on this day.
